Job Description

We are building a culture of success here, and it depends on our people striving for greatness and having the courage and commitment to getting better every day.Our bakery, located at 2095 Meadowvale Blvd, Mississauga is currently recruiting for: Full Time, Permanent Material Handler/ Receiver Position - Night Shift. Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm-6:00amResponsibilities:

    • Receives and load storage trailers from yard
    • Stages and organizes ingredients and packaging materials for daily production schedule
    • Receives all bulk ingredients (flour/yeast/oil/sugar)
    • Receives and inspects all incoming ingredients and packaging materials from supplier
    • Performs material weight inspection and 4 week inventoried material inspections
    • Assists in receiving sanitation and maintenance supplies
    • Assists in shipping and expediting orders
    • Assists material handler as required
    • Performs data entry relating to receiving and movement of material in SAP
    • Performs cycle counts as planned
    • Performs physical month end inventory counts as per schedule period ends
    • Documents material/supply deviations and deficiencies as per standard operating procedures
    • Maintains a safe and secure work environment
    • Manages stock as per FIFO system
    • Manages CHEP pallets inbound/outbound activity.
    • Report CHEP details to CHEP pallet coordinator on a weekly basis.
    • Perform quarterly racking inspections in the plant.
    • General housekeeping duties
Requirements:
    • Valid Forklift Operator License (for Toyota 3 wheel counterbalance and Raymond Reach certificate Mandatory
    • Proven experience in Shipping and Receiving, Material Handling
    • Strong communication and math skills
    • Heavy lifting up tp 50lbs
    • Able to perform duties in a cold environment, occasionally a freezer environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong computer skills
    • Flexible to work on off-regular schedule dates to perform period end inventory
    • Excellent attention to detail and good organization skills
    • Pay $19.00/hour + .75¢/hour Night premium
