Directly reporting to the Sr. Payroll Manager the Payroll Specialist is accountable for all elements of payroll, benefits & 401k remittances for approximately 600 employees across North America and International.What you’ll be doing:Perform full-cycle processing and data entry for semi-monthly and monthly payrolls using ADP Workforce Now Payroll and Time & Attendance, including the processing and maintenance of wage garnishments, off-cycle (manual) checks, distribution of payroll checks and pay statements, and maintenance of recordsMaintain ADP Workforce Now Time & Attendance and Payroll to ensure streamlined and accurate processingEnsure payroll accounting is complete and accurate by uploading ADP journal entry to SAP and perform monthly reconciliations of US payroll related accountsProvide support to employees and management regarding questions related to payroll transactions and provide payroll and/or labor related information upon requestSupport the budgeting and forecasting process for payroll costsPerform benefits & 401k deduction setup, maintenance, auditing, premium payments and reporting for the vendors providing the following: Group Health Plans, Life Insurance and Disability Programs, FSA, COBRA and 401KDocument and maintain administrative procedures for assigned payroll and benefit processes and look for ways to improve existing processes and programsProvide assistance with special projects for payroll and benefits administration and Human ResourcesParticipate in, and/or coordinate internal and external auditsWhat we’re looking for:5 years’ experience in payroll administration for a mid-sized company5 years' of working experience processing payroll for North America; exposure to processing payroll internationally would be considered an assetAPA or CPA Certified, preferredExperience with ADP Workforce Now and SAP is an assetStrong analytical skills and a good understanding of 401(k) administration as it relates to payrollExcellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and diplomacyMust be comfortable working within tight deadlines and high volume workloadsExtra attention to detail and care for confidential informationHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency using Excel.The ideal candidate will have:Excellent communication skills, with a strong customer service approach.Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.Strong analytical skills and a good understanding accounting administration as it relates to payrollStrong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Proactive and results-driven self-motivated approach to task management.Ability to work in dynamic environment and deal effectively with change.Required ExperienceFor consideration, please apply online.
