The program areas are staffed by a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and pharmacists. Treatment modalities include nursing care, group activities, pharmacological treatments and individual therapy.Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the peer support worker will work as a member the multi-disciplinary team to provide support to patients admitted to the Hospital, and within the Early Psychosis Intervention Program. The Peer Support Worker works with patients in individual and group settings to facilitate and support recovery for adults and youth facing mental health challenges through empowerment, compassion, empathy and mutual understanding. The Peer Support Worker has gone through the process of their own recovery and they will use this experience to assist others on their recovery journey.Responsibilities:
