If you are passionate about what you do, motivated to improve the health of the community, committed to excellence, quality and patient safety we would like you to join our Better Together team!As a member of the perioperative team, the successful candidates will report to the Perioperative Patient Care Manger/delegate and will be responsible and accountable to assist with clinical support services for patient care to support safe, efficient and effective care for patients/families throughout the perioperative process. Responsibilities include: services related to patient, equipment, specimen and supply transport; assisting with patient positioning and transfers; room turn over and set up; maintaining a clean and safe environment in all peri-operative areas; maintaining inventory by stocking supplies in designated areas in accordance as assigned, and other related duties as required.Position requires availability 7 days a week on a rotational basis with alternating start times and shift times can be subject to change.Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Perioperative care experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Be physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to work with a dynamic team
