Job Description

Production and Supply Chain CoordinatorWe are currently looking for the next Production and Supply Chain Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Production and Supply Chain Manager, the coordinator supports the organization by maintaining strong relationships with our local and global suppliers, helps coordinate production and the timely flow of in-bound shipments.This is a full-time permanent role.Role Responsibilities

  • Support, collaborate, and liaise with key stakeholders in the Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations Teams.
  • Coordinate requests for product quotes and prepare product costing schedules for pricing.
  • Place purchase orders with accurate purchase price, contact suppliers, update ETAs, and monitor inbound shipments.
  • Manage vendor relationships including costing, quality, delivery, and other related metrics to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate inbound shipping and work with customs broker to ensure timely and accurate import of goods.
  • Investigate Canadian import rules from new source countries.
  • Coordinate domestic production, create POs / transfer orders, receive product and, issue required inventory adjustments.
  • Engage with suppliers to schedule / expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed or late shipments, resolve invoice discrepancies related to quantity and price. Issue debit memos to suppliers and manage receipt of credit.
  • Manage weekly vendor payment schedule.
  • Ensure system integrity by keeping purchase price/cost current to ensure accurate margins
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years previous experience in Purchasing and/or Supply Chain experience
  • Working knowledge of purchasing/production practices and global shipping
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • When required, schedule and place calls with offshore vendors outside of work hours (1-2 times per month).
  • Computer proficiency skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Netsuite by Oracle is considered an asset.
  • MUST BE SUPER ORGANIZED
