Job Description

Aspen Wood Floors is a leading Retailer of hardwood flooring, as well as cork, vinyl and laminate floors, for over 25 years.Our showroom provides homeowners, contractors, designers and builders a place to shop for a wide range of flooring options manufactured by the most sought out manufacturers in the flooring industry. We proudly offer our consumers guidance on selecting the right floor for their home by offering our expertise knowledge on flooring and the installation of floors.We sell Cash & Carry as well provide Professional Installation ServiceWe currently have a position available for a purchasing agent that enjoys working in a team environment.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Creating and issuing purchase orders to suppliers in order to fill requirements for sales and operational needs.
  • Reviewing purchase orders against vendor order confirmations for accuracy
  • Following up on purchase orders that are in Pending Arrival state. Pending due to estimated arrival dates by vendors or estimated required dates provided by customers.
  • Communicating with customers, sales staff, and vendors.
  • Coordinating the delivery of the inventory by booking with our freight companies using a just in time strategy.
  • Recording the received shipments into our inventory records
  • Processing and posting Vendor Bills
  • Invoicing customer sales orders
  • Document scanning and electronic filing
  • Communicate in a professional helpful manner at all times
  • You will report to the Store Manager.
