For more information, please visit www.thermofisher.com.We have two positions available at our Mississauga site.How will you make an impactYou will manage a portfolio of clients and update quality plans/quality performance for clients, supports product transfers from Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) and external to Commercial operations. You will provide on floor Quality support, attend RAPIDS and performs deviation investigations. You will participate in Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEAs) and process improvements determined from trending data.What will you doEssential Functions:Manages multiple small-medium projects and/or improvement initiativesLeads risk analysesAssures continuous Quality improvement in plant related to trends from Quality systemsLeads Quality initiatives, and provides Q support throughout the facility, quality assessments on process improvement activities such as Mini Ts, KaizensWorks with management to resolve project issues and resource constraints within the team.Supports decision making on projects and future directions by trending deviations in Global Track Wise (GTW)Maintains positive team member interactions and manages conflict with assistance from Quality ManagerPlans, monitors, and ensures completion of Metrics, CAPAs and quality approvalsSupports Quality investigations related to Site, Incoming material, Complaints and productsFacilitates content of Quality Huddles, represent Quality at RAPIDs, and material under investigationAccountable for preparation of Quality Agreements for approvalAssures TW complianceManages client satisfaction by updating quality plans and coordinates customer requestsManages a portfolio of Clients of moderate to high complexity and will be the key contactMonitors Voice of the Client (VOC) and builds improvement plansPrepares quality presentations for Client meetings and presentSupports PAI or Client audits as necessarySupports the implementation of Quality AgreementsHow will you get hereEducation:Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, or EngineeringExperience:Minimum 5 years of previous related experience in pharmaceutical/food/cosmetics industry, preferably in a QA functionMinimum 2 years pharmaceutical development experience.Client interface experience and strong negotiating skills .PM experience or client management experience.Equivalency:Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.Well-organized and detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Strong interpersonal skills, follow up, organization skills, and excellent attention to detail.Proficiency using MS Office applications, Trackwise and SAP.Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices.Established quality, regulatory, and production mindset including an appreciation for client service and the contract manufacturing industry.Strong attention to detail.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proficiency with English language.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
