Job Description

Mahoon Law specializes in the areas of Real Estate, and Corporate Law. We are seeking a full-time Real Estate Clerk.JOB REQUIREMENTSManage Real Estate TransactionsThe ability to independently manage and coordinate multiple real estate transactions from start to finish including purchase, sale, and mortgage.

  • Open and close residential real estate files
  • Prepare reporting requirements for clients, and banks
  • Prepare closing documents as required
  • Prepare transactions for purchase, sale, and mortgages
  • Prepare billings
Manage and coordinate office administrative tasks.
  • Manage the company calendar
  • Book client meetings on behalf of lawyer
  • Assist in preparing all required documentation for client meetings
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a real estate clerk
  • Advanced knowledge of Teraview, Unity, and PC Law
  • Advanced knowledge of Word
  • Knowledge of LLC and FCT is an asset
  • Must have relevant experience and be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to work within tight deadlines and multi-task
Expected start date: 2021-07-05Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to $65,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay
Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
Experience:
  • Legal Clerk: 2 years (preferred)
