SECURITY GUARDCavalia presents its new show in Mississauga: Illumi, the dazzling world of lights, the biggest multimedia sound and light event in the world.Illumi – the dazzling world of lights is a magical, dazzling and extraordinary nocturnal adventure created by thousands of monumental light structures.Come shine with us:

We are looking for security guard: The Security Guard ensure the security of the site and the goods of the event. They are the first to intervene when there is a problem or agitation. This position could be full-time or part-time with a minimum availability of 20 hours per week.RESPONSIBILITIESAccess Control
  • Welcome customers ;
  • Respond to information requests from the public ;
  • Control access to the event site and restricted areas ;
  • Ensure the fluidity of the pedestrian and car routes;
Prevention
  • Making periodic rounds on foot across the event site ;
  • Discouraging inappropriate behaviour ;
  • Ensure compliance with Covid-19 measures
Security and surveillance
  • Monitor the event space ;
  • Ensuring compliance with the security procedures ;
  • Maintaining order and preventing undue agitation, offences or theft of property ;
  • Expelling intruders and loiterers ;
  • Write event report or daily reports ;
  • Respond to emergency calls
DESIRED PROFILE
  • Customer service experience ;
  • First Responder Certification (CPR) ;
  • Agent licence issued by BSP
  • Organizational skills and priority management ;
  • Team spirit ;
  • Bilingual (French and English), speaking ;
  • Ability to work in a variable environment (outdoors, rain, winter) ;
  • Must be able to work with a variable schedule, day, evening and weekends.

Nous recrutons des agents de sécurité : Les Agents de Sécurité assurent la sécurité des lieux et des biens de l’événement. Ils sont les premiers à intervenir lors de problème ou d’agitation. Le poste peut être offert à temps pleins ou partiels, avec une disponibilité minimum de 20 heures par semaine.*RESPONSABILITÉS*Contrôle d’accès
  • Accueillir la clientèle ;
  • Répondre aux demandes d’informations du public ;
  • Contrôler l’accès au site de l’événement et aux zones restreintes ;
  • Veiller à la fluidité du parcours piéton et parcours automobile ;
Prévention
  • Patrouiller à pied et assurer une présence sur l’ensemble du site ;
  • Décourager les comportements inadéquats ;
  • Assurer le respect des mesures Covid-19 ;
Sécurité et surveillance
  • Surveiller les lieux et les biens ;
  • S’assurer du respect des procédures de sécurité ;
  • Maintenir l’ordre et prévenir les agitations indues, infractions ou vol de biens ;
  • Expulser au besoin, les intrus et les flâneurs indésirables ;
  • Rédiger des rapports d’événement ou journalier ;
  • Répondre aux appels d’urgences ;
PROFIL RECHERCHÉ
  • Expérience en service à la clientèle ;
  • Permis de gardiennage du Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP)
  • Formation de Premiers soins (RCR) ;
  • Sens de l’organisation et gestion des priorités ;
  • Esprit d’équipe ;
  • Bilingue (Français et Anglais), à l’oral ;
  • Capacité à travailler dans un environnement variable (extérieur, pluie, hiver) ;
  • Capacité à travailler avec un horaire variable (jour, soir et fin de semaine).
