Specializing in immersive motion picture technologies, our employees are driven by a passion to take audiences around the world to places they have only dreamed of.Come explore IMAX – where innovation, creativity and passion come together!Required SkillsRESPONSIBILITIES:The role will be responsible for all movement in/out of all warehouse locations and the quantity/dollar accuracy and integrity of this Inventory. Assure customer on time delivery in a timely, efficient manner and optimize inventory levels. Support the yearly physical count process in a timely efficient manner.

  • Main point of contact for the GSI team during regular business hours
  • Monitor requirements for order requests and take appropriate actions
  • Lead daily / bi-Weekly GSI Meetings
  • Communicate with Global depots (email and phone) and direct parts to theaters as needed
  • Communicate requirements and coordinate shipments with OEMs
  • Keep stakeholders updated with respect to part delivery schedules
  • Work directly with clients for customs related requirements for shipments and approvals
  • Maintain customer database for shipment requirements
  • Work with Logistics team to ensure parts are shipped efficiently
  • Ensure all transactions are properly carried out in SAP including NOC Handover of Oncall
  • Take part in SAP/Metrix testing to streamline and improve current processes
  • Continuous improvement on all processes
  • Support and maintain various reports and metrics on Department and OEM performance
  • Must be able to work on call hours (evenings and weekends) on a rotational basis
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with a positive outlook, high energy, attention to details and a role model
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate the effects of change
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to achieve issues resolution
  • Strong team player, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment
  • Recognize opportunities for improvement to methods, procedures, or services
