In addition, Sanofi is expected to launch new products and new indications for existing products that will require the design and launch of new patient support services.The Specialist, Patient Support Services, will work closely with the Lead, Patient Support Services, internal Sanofi cross-functional teams and PSS vendors to ensure the ongoing support of patient access to therapy with the highest standards of services, support and care. The position will report to the Head, Patient Support Services, Sanofi Specialty Care. The position is based in Mississauga, ON.Key Responsibilities:In particular, the Specialist, Patient Support Services will partner with the Lead, Patient Support Services to:
  • Develop, manage and communicate the status of project plans for the launch of new indications and new PSS initiatives (including new digital capabilities).
  • Prepare PSS performance metrics reports, status updates and communications for global and local management teams as needed.
  • Manage vendor partners Support the Lead, PSS to ensure appropriate vendor deliverables, timelines, and budgets are maintained according to contract terms.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global PSS processes, and support audit readiness and response requirements.
  • Gain insight into the objectives of other functions and react quickly to recommend and promote efficient PSS solutions or alternatives to business challenges.
  • Work across Sanofi Genzyme businesses, functions and within the PSS team to identify and share best practices.
  • Work with the field teams to maintain a current understanding of health care provider and payer needs relating to support provided through the PSS.
  • Act as an ally for diversity, equity and inclusion in all elements of our business.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree; relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years relevant pharmaceutical experience including experience working with Patient Support Services and vendor management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that improved patient access to therapy and/or created new ways of working to resolve key business challenges; experience piloting new digital capabilities is an asset.
  • Strong collaboration, organizational and operations skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership/ and analytical skills, ability to delivery on project objectives in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to communicate and present effectively to cross-functional and cross-organizational teams in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to flex, adapt and lead in an environment of changing business priorities.
  • Excellent writing, excel, power point and organizational skills required.
  • Bilingual is an asset (English/French).
