We’re proud to be Canada’s leading provider of broadband network and communication services for businesses and governments.The Business Pricing Strategy Team’s key focus is on providing industry leading pricing strategy support to the Mobility product lines in Bell Business Markets.In the role of Specialist, Pricing Strategy and Reporting, you can expect to be actively involved and engaged in projects and activities that focus on driving improvements and efficiencies in managing our business pricing strategy and operations.You will deliver key strategic insights and recommendations on how we improve pricing processes, productivity as well as competitive offerings through reporting and analytics.Within this role, you can expect:

  • Exposure to all Mobility business product portfolios including Core Wireless, Internet of Things (IOT) and Instant Communications, as well as other products offered in Wireline to business customers
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Salesforce CRM Analytics: You will leverage the Salesforce Einstein Analytics platform to design, develop and deploy new datasets and dashboards to generate actionable insights and help performance manage our business
  • Utilize the TCP (total customer potential) and High Risk Index models to develop distinct pricing strategies and offers across core wireless, IoT and Instant Communications
  • Partnering with sales to develop compelling pricing solutions based on competitive insights for our customers (internal and external)
  • Complete reporting (recurring and ad-hoc) to assess pricing and profitability performance
  • Process improvement – identify opportunities to automate and improve efficiency
  • Data analysis – Assess data to provide insight for pricing initiatives
  • Data mining– Ability to retrieve data and identify data errors/gaps in the data sources
  • Effectively communicate and present results to key stakeholders
  • Performing post-mortem analysis to track and measure accuracy of approved business cases
Key Skills Required for the Role:
  • University degree in business/management related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a pricing role is an asset
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Sound business intelligence and data mining skills, experience using SAS, SQL, and MicroStrategy or Tableau, capable of complex data manipulation tasks in both Excel and SQL
  • Strong experience with NM1 billing system, capable of retrieving information from NAG, BAN, subscriber, Hierarchy, Memo and Bills
  • Excellent data analytics and critical thinking skills
  • Focus on customer experience (both internal and external)
  • Ability to look at things from multiple lenses and angles, “be the customer/user”
  • Creative with an ability to demonstrate “out of the box” thinking approaches to problem solving
  • Results-oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Effective and authentic communicator (written and oral)
