For further information, please visit www.brambles.com.Job DescriptionPosition PurposeThe role of Supply Chain Analyst is to supply empirical, data driven intelligence to Logistics teams that drive cost reduction, service improvements and cross functional communication. The Supply Chain Analyst gathers and organizes data, prepares reports, leads and supports department projects to support departmental performance objectives.Major/Key AccountabilitiesThis role will work closely with most functions of CHEP including: Sales, Operations, Quality, Retail Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning and Finance.Responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, assembling, and analyzing data to support key decision makers with data integrity and accuracy
  • Creating, developing, and distributing performance reports and scorecards to meet changing business needs, including:
    • Rail reporting
    • On Time Performance
    • Freight Spend
    • Month End Reporting
    • BlueView Monthly Maintenance
  • Owning and leading Logistics Cost Savings reporting
  • Identifying gaps in performance KPI and providing cost effective options for continuous business improvement.
  • Sharing best practices and standardizing reporting between the teams; Identifying opportunities for standardization, input reduction, and less manual data handling
  • Identifying rote tasks and leveraging systems to automate where possible
  • Ensuring excellent financial controllership over the transportation financials, including monthly close
  • Partnering with cross functional stakeholders to lead cost benefit studies and developing ad hoc business cases
  • Collaborating with US team to drive cost savings and improvement of cross border On Time Performance
  • Conducting the necessary analysis to drive best in class delivery to customers
  • Participating in/Leading ad hoc projects requiring Supply Chain intelligence
  • Exhibiting commitment to CHEP Canada Zero Harm values
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant business analysis discipline (Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain)
Experience
  • 3-5 years of analytical experience

Fonctions du posteL’analyste de la chaîne d’approvisionnement a pour mandat de fournir de l’information basée sur des données empiriques aux équipes de logistique afin de réduire les coûts, d’améliorer les services et de favoriser les communications entre les fonctions. L’analyste de la chaîne d’approvisionnement recueille et organise les données, prépare des rapports et contribue aux projets de son service afin d’aider à atteindre ses objectifs de rendement.Principales responsabilitésLe titulaire de ce poste travaille en étroite collaboration avec la plupart des fonctions de CHEP, notamment : Ventes, Exploitation, Qualité, Chaîne d’approvisionnement au détail, Logistique, Planification et Finances.Ses responsabilités comprennent :
  • Recueillir, assembler et analyser les données afin de fournir de l’information juste et préciser aux décideurs.
  • Créer, développer et distribuer des rapports de rendement et des cartes de pointage afin d’aider à répondre aux besoins en évolution de l’entreprise, notamment:
    • Rapports ferroviaires
    • Ponctualité
    • Dépenses en transport de fret
    • Rapports de fin de mois
    • Entretien mensuel BlueView
  • Être responsable du rapport sur les économies de coûts en logistique et superviser sa production.
  • Relever les lacunes dans les IRC du rendement, et fournir des solutions rentables pour améliorer continuellement l’entreprise.
  • Partager les meilleures pratiques et standardiser les rapports des différentes équipes, trouver les occasions de normalisation, de réduction des saisies de données et de diminution du traitement de l’information manuellement.
  • Trouver les tâches de routine et utiliser les systèmes pour les automatiser lorsque possible.
  • Veiller à un excellent contrôle financier des données financières sur les transports, y compris les fins de mois.
  • Collaborer avec les intervenants des autres fonctions afin de réaliser des études de rentabilisation et de développer des études de cas ad hoc.
  • Collaborer avec l’équipe aux É.-U. afin de réaliser des économies de coûts et améliorer la ponctualité transfrontalière.
  • Mener les analyses nécessaires afin d’offrir les meilleurs services de l’industrie aux clients.
  • Participer aux projets had hoc nécessitant de l’information sur la chaîne d’approvisionnement ou superviser ceux-ci.
  • Démontrer son engagement envers les valeurs de Zéro dommage de CHEP Canada.
Qualifications
  • Baccalauréat dans un domaine d’analyse pertinent (administration, finances, ingénierie, exploitation ou chaîne d’approvisionnement)
