Job Description

At Genwave Technologies, we know wireless. We’re a Canadian Wireless Engineering firm and Wireless System Integrator that designs, builds and supports wireless systems. From Indoor DAS to Public Safety Radio to Cellular Towers to Wi-Fi, we design, build and provide technical support for key enterprise and carrier clients. And we are really humbled by the quality of our clients.We are building a Distributed Antenna Systems for a key Client, we’re looking for a skilled & enthusiastic technician to immediately contribute to our growing business!Sound interesting so far Here’s more info:The Role:

  • Work with the crew to safely complete in-building jobs on spec, on time and on budget.
  • Worksites will be office towers, parking lots, arenas, malls, transit systems, etc.
  • Read and follow civil drawings and customer work orders.
  • Ensure job site and personnel safety protocols and practices.
  • Site documentation including updates, issues (with suggestions to resolve), redline drawings, etc.
  • Troubleshooting systems in various environments.
  • While viewed as an asset, this is not a IT related position.
Your skills:
  • Minimum 1 year DAS construction experience.
  • Good depth of knowledge of building construction, cable installation, connectors, etc.
  • Experience working with Canadian mobile carriers is an asset.
  • Experience with RF, DC power cable installation, antennas, radios, etc.
  • Proficient at passive cable testing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Fiber optics installation and testing.
  • Must be able to lift upwards of 50lbs.
  • Reliable, mature and committed to your career advancement and learning new things.
  • Experience with scissor lift operation an asset.
  • Valid Working at Heights certificate.
  • Clean drivers abstract and reliable transportation.
