  • Applicants must have a Grade 12 diploma and a College Diploma in medical terminology is required
  • Training in medical secretarial field is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and respond in an effective and efficient manner
  • Demonstrated ability to complete the day to day clerical functions of a diverse clinical setting in order to maximize the Women’s Health Clinic team’s ability to provide patient/family centered care (reception, schedule build within EPIC, registration, reminder calls to patients, ordering supplies, processing patient’s record/orders, compiling and reconciling data, scheduling appointments/diagnostics, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask with attention to detail (accuracy)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using the EPIC ambulatory care module is preferred.
  • Satisfactory attendance and performance required
