Job Description

Your West Coast Adventure Awaits!Come join our fun and adventurous team! You will be working in a natural playground of rugged coastal mountains, rainforests and ocean. Spend your summer getting paid to be where others vacation!Get to know us:Moutcha Bay Resort is a remote destination dedicated to sustainable adventure tourism, located 2 hours west of Campbell River on Vancouver Island by road. We host guests from around the world and love to share our passion for saltwater sportfishing and other outdoor adventures.Who you are:

  • You have experience working in a commercial kitchen
  • You love cooking and understand various cooking methods, equipment, and procedures
  • You have your Food Safe level 1 certification
  • You enjoy working with a commitment to safety and sanitation
  • Youve got great interpersonal skills and love working with a team
  • Youre able to lift up to 30lbs and work while standing or walking for prolonged periods
What you’ll be doing:
  • Youll be cooking on line for an a-la-carte restaurant
  • Youll be taking instructions from the Resort Chef and Sous Chef
  • Youll be setting up and stocking stations
  • Youll be cleaning and sanitizing your work station, fridge, freezers, and dry storage
  • Youll be communicating regularly with co-workers and resort guests
Working with us:This position has an anticipated start date of May 15-June 30 and end date of August 31-September 30. Contract length dependent on demands of business.
