Job Description

Celebrating 63 years of BusinessWe Bring Food to Your Family’s Table!We are now hiring a Network and Systems Administrator for our New Hamburg, Ontario terminal!Shift Details: Monday to Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
  • Monitoring, configuring, and deploying Cisco hardware (switches, routers, firewall)
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Tier 2-3 Help Desk support and internal I/T support.
  • Enterprise Business Software Support – upgrades, trouble shooting and HA monitoring.
  • Support Smart Phones in an Office 365 environment.
  • All other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in system administration or network administration.
  • Experience and knowledge of storage and server administration/virtualization (VMware, Azure).
  • Experience and knowledge of Cisco networking equipment
  • Experience and knowledge in a Citrix environment.
  • Knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong networking knowledge: IP, TCP, UDP, firewalls, LAN/Internet routing, VPNs, NAT, DNS.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Experience with Linux Server OS would be considered an asset.
  • Windows PowerShell Scripting experience would be considered an asset.
  • SQL DB experience would be considered an asset.
  • Certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and CompTIA would be considered an asset.
