Job Description

Cylinder Truck Driver and DeliveryNova Industrial Supplies Ltd.-Starting at $16.25/hourNova Industrial Supplies Ltd. is the only locally owned and operated industrial gas distributor in Southwest Nova Scotia. At Nova, we pride ourselves on providing the best customer experience in our industry. We are seeking a friendly and reliable cylinder truck delivery driver to work out of our New Minas branch.The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Weekly delivery of propane, industrial gases, and supplies to local businesses.
  • Ensuring delivery truck is properly maintained as per manufacturer requirements.
  • Ensuring the safe operation of the delivery truck.
  • Filling and inspecting propane cylinders.
  • Loading and unloading cylinders as part of the daily run.
  • Filling out the necessary paperwork. (TDG documents)
  • Communicating with the branch manager, and customers.
  • Receiving inventory.
  • Inventory counts.
  • Preparing orders for customers.
  • Point of sale billing.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work.
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
  • Class 5 drivers license and a safe driving record.
  • Class 3 drivers license is considered an asset.
  • Must work well with others.
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be customer-focused.
