Job Description

Full Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Full-Time Medical Office Administrator to join our team who is compassionate, self-directed, and detail oriented. You will be responsible for all aspects of the daily functioning of a very busy office for three physicians. This position is made for someone who loves a fast-pace, high expectations & independence.

  • The successful candidate for this position is a team player who is self-efficient, hardworking, and organized. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and should be able to multitask and work well under pressure. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as this is required. You have a professional and friendly demeanor and a passion for exceptional patient care and medical procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experience as an MOA: 1-3 year (Required)
  • EMR systems: 1-3 year (Required)
  • Completion of a MOA program OR Completion of OA program with Medical Terminology (Required)
Skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly reliable and punctual.
  • Effective conflict resolution, problem identification, problem resolution and decision making.
Responsibilities & Duties – Included but not limited to.
  • Incoming/Outgoing - Emails, Faxes, Scanning & Answering the telephone.
  • Paper Mail/Reports – Scanning and sorting mail/reports.
  • Booking, confirming patient appointments & intake procedures.
  • Billing Inquiries, any billing questions or investigations/Completing insurance or any other claims.
  • Ordering – Office supplies, Medical Supplies, Drug Samples.
  • Prenatal Packages, Prenatal Records.
  • Specimen Drop-off.
  • Dealing with patients when checking in, confirming/updating their contact information, scheduling appointments, and answering questions they may have.
  • Cleaning exam rooms. Clean and sterilize instruments.
  • Preparing or stocking rooms with the necessary supplies. Bringing patients into the exam rooms.
  • Any/All Doctor’s requests; Relaying messages to the physician in a timely manner.
Additional Information:
  • 8:00AM – 5:00PM
  • 32 Hours per week.
  • Expected start date: ASAP
  • Pay Structure: $18/$19hr for probation period, then $19/20hr after probation period.

  • Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday
  • No weekends
