Job Description

Primary FocusThe QC Documentation Assistant is responsible for control of the quality documentation. Work with the Quality team with all forms, documentation and all other administrative needs. Requires a high level of attention to detail, understanding of manufacturing and the ability to implement the organization #39;s quality assurance policies. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.Specific Accountabilities

  • Create and maintain QC control documentation
  • Document Control organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by quality team
  • Comply with Silent-Aire #39;s QA programs
  • Assistant to the Global Quality Manager
  • Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization
  • Other duties as assigned
Contacts
  • Communication is primarily with internal team members.
  • External contacts potentially could include, customers and vendors.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment
  • Occasional shop present which will require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Overtime as required (if authorized in advance by the Quality Manager).
Knowledge, Skillsamp; Abilities
  • Knowledge of quality methodologies.
  • Medium to excellent Microsoft excel knowledge
  • Practical experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
  • Able to interface directly with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

  • Reports to: Quality Manager
