Job Description

Spirit Employmentamp; Training Inc. Is looking to hire two fulltime permanent mechanical technicians to work in the Nisku area. The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The role primarily is to improve efficiency and productivity in the shop.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain assigned equipment according to the maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.
  • Comply with TLM Product Line standards.
  • Follow the transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record;
  1. Materialsamp; Supplies
  2. Labour Costsamp; Equipment Maintenance
  3. Performance History
  4. Parts Used
  5. Time taken to Maintain.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery.
  • Maintain workflow, which includes reducing downtime due to maintenance, parts, repair, and process.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
Assets and Experience:
  • College Diploma or Associate Degree (Mechanical)
  • Previous maintenance experience in the oilfield is a plus.
  • Excellent communication both verbal and good computer skills
  • Indigenous candidates are encouraged
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
General Information
  • Up to $25 per hour in wages
  • Monday-Friday
  • Permanent Position
