We offer solutions for complex tooling and plastic part challenges to world-class OEM and Tier 1 clients for over 40 years. As we continue to expand our footprint, we are recruiting top talent to join our team.BuyerThe Buyer is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services from external vendors. This role involves identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality and timely delivery of outsourced products/services, and managing vendor relationships. The coordinator will also be involved in cost-saving initiatives and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, employee handbook guidelines, health and safety policies and ISO quality program and procedures.Job Details:

  • Full-time, day shift, Monday-Friday (8:00 A.M.- 5:00P.M.)

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in computers with the ability to use various computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Visual, CAD/CAM Viewer, etc.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry and their applications
  • Capable of forecasting and solving problems
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis and business needs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time
  • Occasional overtime and travel may be required
  • Exposure to noise
