And we are One Driving Force.Plasman, Global Headquarters/Windsor Tooling is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:HR OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATORReporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Operations Administrator is responsible for general office duties, answering incoming calls and providing administrative assistance to the Management team at Plasman HQ / Windsor Tooling facility.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting all visitors that arrive at the facility.
  • Answering the telephone in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Forwarding incoming calls to the appropriate persons or departments.
  • Providing administrative support to all departments as required.
  • Ensuring office supply stock and maintenance of all general office machinery.
  • Stamping and distribution of incoming mail, shipmentsamp; faxes to the appropriate person or department.
  • Preparing outgoing mail.
  • Ensuring Employee Communication Boards are updated as required.
  • Ordering lunches, employee flowers/gift baskets, branded clothing.
  • Assisting Accounts Payable as required.
  • Assisting Controller with job costing, including daily data entry of timetickets into Profikey system.
  • Managing Kantac Security Software System and responsible for administering employee ID badges.
  • Providing daily/weekly reports to the VP, Tooling/Mold Maker Manager.
  • Assisting with planning facility eventsamp; employee engagement programs.
  • Managing Contractors WSIB clearance through WSIB website.
  • Entering purchase requisitions in Trans4M where required.
  • Work with HR Manager to perform various administrative functions.
  • Preparing customs letter for employees going to US on service calls.
  • Responsible for tracking labour hours and costing using Profit Keyamp; Labour Hours Reporting on a daily basis.
  • Backup to site Customsamp; Outsourcing Coordinator.
  • Assisting the JHSC and key role with respect to emergency response.
  • Ensuring personal and associate awareness and understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO/IATF16949 Standards, and company policies and procedures.
  • During management system audit events provide evidence in support of conformance with applicable standards and procedures and participate in corrective action activities as necessary.
  • Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times
  • Ensuring that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained
  • Completing any other duties as assigned
  • Ensuring that sufficient resources are available for each department including training, safety requirements, personnel, work instructions, procedures, and related tools
  • Assisting in any way to any employee, necessary to promote a successful operation emphasizing customer satisfaction
MINIMUM EDUCATION/ OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent with preference given to those who have completed some or all of a College level program.
  • Previous Administrative/Office experience is required.
  • 1-3 years HR experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excelamp; PowerPoint
  • Data entry experience.
