Job Description

The Custom Productivity Solutions team requires a Technical Systems Analyst (TSA) to supplement the team resources to deliver on new initiatives. The TSA would be required to:

  • work with the business representatives to capture business requirements
  • translate business requirements into system / technical requirements
  • interact with internal IT teams and/or external vendors to validate product specifications and meet business requirements
  • (if required) support product acceptance testing
  • co-ordinate with various IT and business stakeholders to ensure adherence to our clients standards and architecture
  • ensure that initiatives stay on-track to completion through timely and regular follow-up with stakeholders
Experience in delivering end-to-end solutions - from requirements gathering through to implementation - will be important.The candidate must have experience with:
  • Requirements gathering and documentation
  • Systems analysis System Configuration/Administration/Integration
  • Project Management lite (project plan, deliverable tracking, status updates, schedule, etc.)
  • Test plan and execution
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support
  • Production Qualification
  • Defining post go-live support models
  • JIRA
  • SCRUM
Additional qualifications:
  • Experience with:
    • an eSignature solution e.g. Adobe Sign, DocuSign,
    • an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform e.g. Documentum,
    • a Quality Management System (QMS),
    • Microsoft 365 (Power platform specifically) and/or cloud/virtual solutions.
  • Micro Focus ALM (formerly HP ALM) experience would be an asset.
  • Post-secondary level education (e.g. college, technical institute or university) in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably in Business, IT, Computer Science or Computer / Software Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience delivering business applications in the supply chain, pharmaceutical, biologics or similar industries.
  • Experience in user experience and customer service management.
The TSA will be expected to deliver/practice the following:
  • Managing deliverables for the project including project plan (lite), schedule, requirements, test plan and execution, UAT support, production qualification.
  • Technical documentation for the purpose of knowledge retention or transfer.
  • Work in the teams agile practices including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint retro and planning.
  • Attendance and participation in various meetings with the customer, team members and other IT resources.
  • Use CLIENTS JIRA process to manage work items.
