About this opportunityOur Systems DevOps Infrastructure sector plays a strategic role in making sure that Cloud RAN developers have the feedback at their fingertips to produce the most hard-working and efficient Cloud RAN solutions in the industry.We are a small but mighty team: we orchestrate the adoption of ground breaking paradigms and technology, enabling the DevOps transformation in PDU Cloud RAN and on behalf of DNEW. We enable the PDU to reach new heights, by developing the DevOps test strategy and providing the specialists and critical expertise needed to implement it. We provide support, services, guidelines, templates, and infrastructure that make it easy for the Solution Programs, Partners and Customers to be quick and efficient.We have our heads in the air and our feet on the ground: we collaborate with S&T, Ericsson Research, GAIA, Open Source, ESP Program (DSI and NSV), BDGS and external Partners to bring in fresh ideas and new solutions, but we also “walk the talk” in securing the infrastructure and support for Cloud RAN product delivery (Solution Programs/Streams)We are looking for a dynamic and creative Product Development Leader to head the DevOps Infrastructure. You will guide, mentor, challenge and develop your team to adopt the cloud-native paradigm, which requires high autonomy and collaboration. You will cultivate a creative and learning culture, where we continuously seek a balance between short-term deliverables and mid-to long term strategic objectives.What you will do

• Develop and implement the Lab strategy for PDU Cloud RAN
  • Driving new concepts to shorten the time to set up new test configurations, facilitate equipment re-use and enhance utilization, and improve trouble-shooting (e.g. infrastructure automation, Lab-as-a-Service, AI/ML, integration with partner test environments)
  • Drive architectural changes needed in the DNEW lab infrastructure for Cloud RAN requirements
• Support the integration of new configurations, where Cloud Native and Networking expertise is required
  • Integration of new CaaS and new HW for reference configurations
  • Deployment with Hyperscalers
  • New SW architecture deployment (e.g. Centralized-RAN, switched fonthaul)
• Collaborate with DSI, SAN, BDGS and 3PP CaaS to build, operate and maintain the test environment

You will bring

• Education: B.Sc./B.Eng in SW engineering or related field - or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability: Cloud Native infrastructure, Product/System Integration Verification, CI/CD, automation, RAN, test infrastructure
• Product development and Product Lifecycle Management process knowledge, DevOps experience an asset
• Demonstrated innovative attitude, coaching and mentoring skills, business understanding
• Excellent communications and presentation skills
• Formulating strategies and concepts
• Collaborative great teammate
• Line management experience an asset
