Job Description

Are you a power-house problem-solver who wants to work remotely We would love to have you on our team!We are a full-service residential leasing and property management company. This fast-paced and quickly growing company manages condominiums, single-family dwellings and multi-plex buildings throughout the Ottawa and surrounding area.The Property Coordinator will work closely with all members of the team to manage day-to-day operations of property management and general administrative needs. This involves daily coordinating with tenants, landlords, contractors, leasing agents, and team members. The key responsibilities of the Property Coordinator include, but are not limited to:Core Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries from tenants and clients and service providers daily (by phone and email) and redirect inquiries where applicable to the appropriate department, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Assist in the collection of rent by preparing late rent notices and corresponding with tenants to ensure prompt payment
  • Coordinate required maintenance work at various properties (including scheduling and liaising with all parties).
  • Material sourcing for various department needs (including construction trade quotes, material orders and acquiring materials for unit/property repairs and upgrades)
  • Ensure properties are in good repair by addressing tenant complaints, requesting owner authorizations, following up on repairs, contracting landscaping and snow removal companies and enforcing rules of occupancy
  • Maintaining detailed maintenance records through property management software
  • Preparing electronic document signing packages
  • Perform clerical duties, including maintaining records, answering phone calls, responding to emails and preparing documents and notices
Required Qualifications
  • English/French bilingualism (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in property management and/or customer service(required)
  • Very strong proficiency in computer software and technology, including Microsoft Suite
  • Highly dependable problem-solver
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize (required)
  • Location: Ottawa (preferred)
Experience with the following systems considered an asset: Buildium, DocuSignSchedule: 3 hours/day Monday-Friday (15 hours/week)Work location: RemoteJob Types: Permanent, Part-timePart-time hours: 15 per weekSalary: $20.00-$23.00 per hourBenefits:
