Category: Current OpportunitiesEmployment Group: TransportationJob SummaryReporting to the Purchasing/Stores Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for providing support services in the operation of an automotive storeroom in conjunction with a Fleet Management Information System (FMIS). The incumbent is required to work evenings, nights and weekends and rotational evening shifts as a "Shift Employee", which includes participation in cyclical inventory counts.Education & ExperienceThe required education level is completion of secondary school (Grade 12) or equivalentA minimum of three (3) years experience is required, one of which must be in a computerized automotive stores environment
  • Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.
Language, Certificates & LicensesA valid Ontario unrestricted "G" class driver’s license (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulated.The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check with the Police Services detachment in their jurisdiction to the City of Ottawa’s satisfaction.
