Job Description

OXFORD NSThis position will include Shift Work.Oxford Frozen Foods, a member of the Bragg Group of Companies, is a vertically integrated wild blueberry farming/processing company and a major producer of frozen carrot products and battered vegetables. We have an immediate opportunity for Maintenance at our Appetizer facility located in Oxford, NS.Benefits of being an Oxford Frozen Foods Employee:

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day maintenance activities
  • Perform moderate mechanical repairs and assist other trades as needed
  • Work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions
  • Follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work independently without supervision
  • Able to be on call
  • Work various shifts Monday through Sunday
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Post-secondary education in related trades would be considered an asset
  • Experience in an industrial environment would be considered an asset
  • Red Seal Journeyman would be considered an asset but is not a requirement
