Job Description

We have an opportunity within our Maintenance department located in Oxford, NS for a Maintenance Supervisor who will directly report to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the production related maintenance activities at Plant’s 1 & 2.Benefits of being an Oxford Frozen Foods Employee:

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing strategies through preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Working directly with members across the organization including Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, Production Manager, Maintenance team, Engineering and other key personnel
  • Assign the duties to the maintenance team
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to personnel reporting to this position
  • Assist with any hands on maintenance as needed
  • Conduct root cause analysis, independently and collaboratively
  • Deploy corrective actions to reduce or eliminate downtime
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Post-secondary education in related trades would be considered an asset
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in an industrial environment
  • Supervisory experience would be considered an asset
  • Experience working in food manufacturing would be considered an asset
