  • Hold A Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level- C Certificate (from an approved WSIB approved agency)
  • Current successful Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Experience working with children 0-12 years in a work or school placement setting is an asset
  • Experience working in customer service-related field is asset
Compensation/Benefits:
  • Starting $16.25 per hour (includes provincial wage enhancement grant)

Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday (no weekends)
  • Must be available for 5 morning shifts or 5 afternoon shifts or both
  • AM Shift 6:30am-9:00am (varies per location)
  • PM Shift 3:00pm -6:00pm (varies per location)
  • Up to 25 hours per week
Responsibilities:
  • To ensure compliance with Child Care and Early Years Act, Health Department regulations and YMCA of Southwestern
Ontario policy and procedures.
  • To actively screen children and families at arrival time according to the current COVID-19 regulations.
  • To ensure a smooth transition of children at arrival and departure to meet the needs, special needs, interests of all
children and families
  • To provide excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Act as a YMCA ambassador, demonstrating YMCA core values in your daily work.
