Job Description

OXFORD FROZEN FOODS LIMITED, a member of the Bragg Group of Companies, is a vertically integrated wild blueberry farming/processing company and a major producer of frozen carrot products and battered vegetables.We have an opportunity for a Process Equipment Specialist that will report directly to the Manager of Plant 1 & 2.Benefits of being an Oxford Frozen Foods Employee:

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair and support our electronic sorting equipment within the food group
  • Support, provide training and feedback to our equipment operators
  • Work with the OEMs to improve sorting programs
  • Working alongside the maintenance team during complex repairs
  • Continuous improvement on both current and future assets regarding safety, quality, and process improvement
  • LEAN Initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with automated equipment and electronics in an industrial setting is a requirement
  • Red seal certification, technology diploma or Engineering degree
  • Prior relevant experience in continuous improvement
Desired Qualities & Abilities:
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible in shift schedule
  • Fluency in a computerized environment including spreadsheet and social media applications
  • Work independently as well as a team member
  • Follow established policies and procedures
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and understand the need for teamwork
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task
  • Sense of urgency
  • This position will occasionally require travel
