Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for assisting project managers from proposal development and award through contract closeout. Responsibilities may include assisting PMs with project planning, scheduling and control of related activities, tracking project activities and schedules, assisting with the development of project updates, costs, overruns, etc.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists project manager in creating project reports as required consisting of financials and project reporting.
  • Reviews and understands contract obligations as per the responsible scope of work.
  • Assists with change management and change order process, including pricing, negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact.
  • Maintains and performs project document control and procedures.
  • Prepares and supervises progress claims for work completed and cost accruals.
  • Reviews subcontractor invoices for accuracy in conjunction with scheduled work complete.
  • Prepares and maintains project lists (actions, rentals, materials, others as required.)
  • Coordinates inventory and tracking of materials and equipment.
  • Assists construction coordination and planning.
  • Identifies and assists resolution of field technical issues.
  • Assists with overall project closeout, including document archival, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
  • Organizes, schedules, coordinates, initiates upcoming project work.
  • Maintains budgets and forecasts.
  • Tracks all project statistics and information.
  • Supports managers and project teams in organizing, performing, tracking and reporting project activities.
  • Reviews, tracks progress, and communicates project progress to managers and team members.
  • Initiates subcontracts and suppliers, orders, reviews payment certificates/invoices & works with procurement, management & team members.
  • Supports PMO with various tasks as identified periodically.
  • Administrative duties as required
Travel: No travel requiredRequired SkillsRequired ExperienceAll candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
  • Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field or College Diploma/certificate or experience in lieu of degree/diploma.
