Position: Housekeeping Suite / Room AttendantGeneral Purpose: To clean and replenish guest roomsReports to: Housekeeping SupervisorCritical Skills:

Ability to maintain a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality
Ability to maintain a positive a positive, cooperative work environment
Willing to adhere to housekeeping and laundry standards

Capable of physical work
Flexible schedule

Main Duties:

To ensure all assigned bedrooms and public areas are serviced, cleaned, and replenished as per standards
To ensure rooms receive the designated extras (VIP, packages, etcâ€¦)
To ensure all maintenance issues reported to maintenance department
To liaise with Housekeeping Supervisor and notify areas needing attention or operational inconsistencies
To ensure OH&S and fire safety standards are upheld at all times
To attend regularly held staff meetings
Respond to guest needs and communicate to guests about hotel promotions, local attractions, and points of interest
Promote goods and services of the Pictou Lodge
Exhibit team approach
Maintain shelf organization
Ensure all items left behind by guests are inputted into Lost and Found system
