And we infuse everything we do with heart because Pound & Grain is “where hustle meets heart”.We are looking for a seasoned resource manager who can ensure that all of our projects are staffed with the best mix of talent so we can deliver exceptional work while ensuring Pound & Grainers are set up to do what they do best, and our business objectives are being met. You will lead the resource management and capacity planning processes for Strategy, Design, Content and Technology teams in a fast-paced environment with ever changing needs, across two offices and time zones.Responsibilities:

• Own the management and execution of resource allocation and capacity planning for Strategy, Design, Content and Technology teams in a fast-paced environment, across two offices and time zones.
• Have a comprehensive, real-time view of all ongoing projects and agency resource utilization with the ability to proactively anticipate potential risks and identify solutions.
• Work closely with our business development, account/production teams and department heads to prioritize and schedule incoming work, ongoing project requirements and forecast potential freelance and hiring needs.
• Plan and manage resources for project-based, retainer and embedded client teams.
• Proactively solve resourcing challenges based on business objectives.
• Run a weekly resourcing meeting and maintain our agency resourcing tool.
• Own the forecasting, utilization and onboarding process for our embedded client teams.
• Proactively build and maintain a freelancer roster, manage freelance contracts, freelancer onboarding and invoicing process.

Skills & Experience

• You’re a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen who is able to use diplomacy, experience, empathy and instinct to develop simple solutions to complex issues or competing demands
• You understand the agency delivery process and the role each team member plays
• At least 2 years of experience in an agency resource management role
• At least 2 years in a digital agency producer or project manager role preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of marketing/advertising industry experience preferred
• Experience with vendor management, contracts and negotiation
• Experience with Smartsheet and Mavenlink/Kantata is a plus
