Job Description

On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Project Manager (Business Transformation) to join our Client #39;s team on a Contract basis. This role is Hybrid and the Client is based in Richmond, BC.Summary of the Role:The Project Manager will lead complex business transformation initiatives, working across departments to define project scope, manage implementation, and deliver measurable outcomes. This includes overseeing all project phases from planning to deployment, with a focus on both business and technology change.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to define project problems and scope.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and level-of-effort estimates.
  • Manage project financials including forecasts, actuals, and reporting.
  • Collaborate on business and technology design, testing, and implementation.
  • Support change management and go-live readiness planning.
  • Contribute to development of metrics, KPIs, and post-implementation benefits tracking.
  • Prepare business cases and secure funding approvals.
  • Guide and mentor team members, ensuring quality deliverables.
Core Requirements:
  • Experience leading business transformation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in a public sector unionized environment.
  • Demonstrated financial forecasting and benefits estimation expertise.
  • Project management experience including planning, delivery, and reporting.
Desired Skillsamp; Experience:
  • Knowledge of end-to-end claims process.
  • Familiarity with change impact assessment and communication planning.
  • Experience with metrics, KPIs, and post-implementation reporting.
  • Ability to lead technology implementation efforts.
  • Business case development and funding approval process knowledge.
Terms:This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The work arrangement is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at the Client’s Richmond, BC office.
