On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Solution Architect on a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension. This role requires at least two days per month on-site at the Richmond, BC head office, with preference given to local candidates.Summary of the role:The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient solution architectures that align with business objectives. This role will lead the development of AI-driven systems using cloud technologies to create resilient, high-performing applications while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of cutting-edge solutions.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into technical architectures, guiding the implementation of AI systems and cloud-based solutions.
• Lead teams in the design, development, and deployment of innovative, AI-driven technologies.
• Collaborate with security teams to mitigate risks and ensure ethical AI application and governance.
• Oversee the development of large-scale, multi-region systems for high-availability applications with over 10,000 concurrent users.

Core Requirements:

• 10+ years of development/architecture experience on cloud platforms.
• Expertise in AI technologies, including machine learning models, natural language processing, and large language models.
• Experience with Azure AI Platform (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Azure Cognitive Services) and AWS/Azure services (Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, SQL-Managed, EC2, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Microsoft C#, .Net, JavaScript, ASP.Net, and .NET Core.
• Experience with AI infrastructure, Kubernetes, micro-service architecture, multi-region API, and messaging solutions.

Desired Skillsamp; Experience:

• Knowledge of Power Apps and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, SQL MI, DB2, Oracle, CosmosDB/DynamoDB/MongoDB).
• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.

Terms:This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be required to work at least two days per month onsite at the Richmond, BC office, with preference given to local candidates.
