A proudly family owned business, East Garden Restaurant is a leader in family dining in the town of Rosthern. We offer a buffet style dining experience, and serve both local customers, as well as travellers staying at the Rosthern Hotel – we are located in the same building.We are seeking a cook to join our team and help our business grow.Job Duties:- Prepare and cook various menu items including main and side dishes- Ensure highest quality of product and that an appropriate amount is made- Train staff in preparation and procedures for food preparation- Assist in supply ordering and inventory control- May assist in selection and hiring of additional kitchen staff- Maintain shift records of meals consumed and use of suppliesJob Requirements:- Completion of secondary school- At least 4 years of experience in a food service setting- At least 2 years of experience as a cook- Must be available to work evenings and weekends- Knowledge and expertise with Chinese style cooking would be considered an assetCompensation:- $15.00/h- Two weeks vacation per year- Position is full time 35hrs/week- Position is permanent/indefinite- This position does not include benefits other than those mentioned hereinWork Location:- 8016 Saskatchewan Street, Rosthern, SK, S0K 3R0Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $15.00 per hourBenefits:
