Information & Referral (Shearwater Site)Job PostingThe Information and Referral team is responsible for high quality customer service. Our focus is on maintaining a positive reputation between our organization and the community we serve, by delivering responsive information and navigational support. Responsible for manning the front desk of the Shearwater site, providing a range of information about military lifestyle and MFRC services and supports available and navigating families’ inquiries with appropriate referrals; internal and external.We are looking for candidates who has a passion for helping others. Someone able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple inquiries and tasks simultaneously.Candidates should possess superior skills in customer service, reception, communication, and administration. If your passion is talking with others and connecting them to services, this is a good fit for you.The successful candidate must demonstrate the following: · Exemplary customer service skills.· Superior verbal and written language and communication skills.· Able to resolve conflict and problem solve with satisfactory results.· Able to work independently and within a team: being adaptable & flexible.· Able to take initiative.· Proficient knowledge of MS Office including MS Teams and client service databases.· Self-directed to achieve outcomes.· High degree of collaboration and teamwork.· Strong project management, time-management, and organizational skills.· Knowledge of the military lifestyle is an asset.Qualifications· Post-secondary education in administration or communications or related experience and education.· 3 years’ experience in customer service.· A valid driver’s license: to meet requirements to drive the H&R MFRC vehicle.· Proficiency in French and English is preferred.
