Job Description

Truck Wash TechnicianAbout UsFast Genetics is a leading North American based pig genetics company with global reach. We providebreeding stock and innovative genetic solutions to pork producers to assist them in providing healthier foodand using fewer resources in an environmentally sustainable way. Fast Genetics is a subsidiary of SexingTechnologies (ST).OpportunityFast Genetics is currently seeking a highly motivated person to fill a full-time position as a Truck WashTechnician. This position will report to the Truck Wash Manager.This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions, but is not limitedto:

  • Sanitizing of all truck and trailer units that transport Fast Genetics’ livestock in a timely manner,
  • Learning and enforcing a strict bio-security protocol for facility, equipment, and vehicles,
  • Managing tasks to ensure the effective flow and use of transportation equipment,
  • Scheduling and following up on timely maintenance for the facility and equipment,
  • Working with the team and being flexible as schedules may change due to weather etc.,
  • Working safely and wearing appropriate PPE while performing all job duties,
  • Other general duties as required.
The successful candidate would ideally possess the following experience and qualifications:
  • Self-motivated and reliable,
  • Able to work flexible hours,
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment,
  • Strong work ethic,
  • Team player,
  • Shares in Fast Genetics core values.
