Job DescriptionTitle: BartenderReports to: Village Square ManagerSummary of Position:Ensure top quality guest experience for every patron of The Village Square. The bartender provides timely, accurate and friendly service, preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests while ensuring that MLCC Guidelines are being followed.Accountabilities:1) To Provide Guests with an Exceptional Beverage Service- Take beverage orders from guests in a friendly, professional manner.- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with standard drink- recipes.- As much as possible, recognize guests and remember their regular drink orders.2) To Manage the Bar Professionally- Wash and sterilize glassware.- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish as necessary.- Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient- drink preparation.- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar station.- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Supervisor.- Assist with the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.- In the case of guests providing their own permit and alcohol, ensure the permit is- displayed as per MLCC guidelines, honour guests requests as per alcohol usage, pack- and organize any empties or unused bottles at the end of the night, and prepare for return- with the permit attached- At all times, ensure that MLCC guidelines and Pineridge Hollow Standards are being- met.- Accept cash payments and make change (when applicable).Qualifications:- Must be of legal age.- Have a working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.- Must have completed up to date Smart ChoicesJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 20-40 per weekSalary: From $14.15 per hourBenefits:
