* Safely and accurately install, repair, test and perform tasks related to construction and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.Common Tasks & Obligations:* Responsible for safely and efficiently installing and testing natural gas facilities * Construction will include the new installation of urban & rural mains * Ensure gas lines and equipment are operating properly & be able to test the various gas components * Overall assistance to crews doing various tasks to ensure timely project completion * All work to be done according to safe work procedures, company work policy, and Manitoba Hydro standardsSkills, Abilities & Experience:* Safety credentials and a safety first attitude (safely orientation will be done upon hiring) * Drivers License (Class 5 with a clean drivers abstract would be optimal) * Valid gas fusing ticket * Experience in the natural gas utility industry is an asset * Strong knowledge and understanding of all codes & regulations when applicable * Most work will be around Winnipeg but be prepared for the possibility of travel throughout Manitoba * Need to be reliable, punctual and willing to learn * Hard working, team player dedicated to company success, and just be an overall good person!Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:
