Urgently hiring a responsible and self-motivated applicant to start off by using a specially set up 5 ton service truck to run out to Brandon and Minnedosa to provide service to locomotives at their rail yards during their down-time. This service is set up for Sunday night/Monday morning, once per week. The servicing includes cleaning the crew cab area, topping up with radiator coolant, engine oil, traction sand, and pumping out the crew toilet into a vacuum tank - none of which are complicated tasks, and training will be provided.Safety for ones self, the equipment, and the occupants of the train yards is of utmost importance, and some training will be provided towards that end (eg. WHMIS, eRail Safe, Fall Arrest, etc). Also required is a class 3 license with Air Brakes.For now this position offers the one shift per week, but this will increase to cover several other rail yards in the near future, and therefore more hours. In the mean-time, a minimum amount of hours will be paid out, regardless of actual week to week requirements, and also additional work would be available on a more random basis, such as covering for unplanned shortages or vacation time of employees doing similar work here in Winnipeg. This sort of filling in would be of great value to our company and would allow for the gaining of experience and the possibility for different positions in the company, if desired, or just some supplementary income for someone happy with a part time schedule.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 10-12 per weekSalary: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:
