Job Description

Looking for a fresh start for 2023 We are hiring a Commodity Handler! No two days are the same here with plenty of variety to keep you on your toes!Located in the heart of the Red River Valley and centrally positioned among all the major feed processing plants and animal producers, NuVision Commodities Inc. specializes in sourcing grain and supplying feed to all of Southern Manitoba and is proud to be family owned and operated since 2003.We are currently seeking applicants for the full-time role of Commodity Handler located in St. Jean Baptiste, MB. This hard-working individual will be responsible for all activities related to the handling and shipping of grain.The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Commitment to providing superior customer service
  • Ability to work collaboratively with counterparts in various departments
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Experience with agriculture, farm equipment and a mechanical aptitude is preferred
  • Previous elevator experience considered an asset
  • Computer skills considered an asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours which includes shift work and required overtime
  • Commitment to safety
  • Ability to follow established processes and protocols to ensure safe and efficienthandling of product
  • Have the physical capacity, when required, for exposure to work in all weatherelements and other physical demands, such as; dusty environments, climbing ladders and stairs, bending or crawling through tight spaces, and lifting heavy equipmentWe offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, as well as a full benefits package.
