Job Description

MATRIX Co. provides a full range of industrial services for the mineral exploration, mining, forestry, energy and oil and gas sectors, including workforce accommodations, camp management, equipment, communication, expediting and fuel supply services. with over 250 employees annually, we offer excellent career advancements for all skillsets. We custom fit our services to the specific needs our client’s project, providing or securing and managing the most appropriate equipment, products, services, people, prices and timing on their behalf.Core Cutters:

  • Responsible for cutting core samples to specified dimensions using specialized equipment (Core saws).
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in the cutting process
  • Properly label and store cut core samples to maintain organization and trackability
  • Maintain and clean cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Requirements
  • Previous camp experience in operating core cutting equipment is a requirement.
  • Level 1 First Aid Certification or equivalent 2-day course - required
  • Knowledge of proper handling and storage of core samples
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
Benefits2 weeks on / 2 week off rotation. Paid Travel daysDay Rate of $325-$350 (based on experience)Fly-in/Fly out jobs in the Yukon for the summer field season (until October 2025)
