Job Description

Position: Structural / Fabrication Designer Location: Uxbridge, ONSalary: $30 per hourIndustry: Fabrication/ Designing / SolidworksEmployment Term: Full Time / Permanent Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and improving models for new and existing furnaces
  • Finding any quality or performance related issues and provide guidance in problem resolution
  • Manages the modelling process from information request to final report
  • Set clear guidelines for design and/or process changes.
  • Continuous improvement
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent required
  • 3 -5 years of experience in structural/ fabrication design
  • Previous experience with Industrial furnaces preferred
  • Hands on Solidworks experience required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to travel locally to meet with suppliers
