Job Description

Job Title: Litigation Lawyer (Hybrid, Full-Time)Location: Okanagan, BCJob Type: Full-Time, HybridOverview: We are seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years of general litigation and Personal Injury Defense experience to join our growing team. This hybrid position requires the successful candidate to live and work in the Okanagan, with occasional office visits throughout the week. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated lawyer who excels in practice management and thrives in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities:

  • Handle a full caseload of litigation files independently, including examinations for discovery, applications, mediations, and trials.
  • Provide legal services in areas such as personal injury defense, estate litigation, insurance disputes, and more.
  • Collaborate with senior legal counsel for mentorship on complex cases.
  • Maintain excellent client communication and deliver high-quality legal work.
  • Exercise discretion and good judgment in sensitive and confidential matters.
Qualifications:
  • Member of the BC Bar in good standing.
  • Legally entitled to practice law in Canada.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with Personal Injury Defense experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload from start to finish with little supervision.
  • Previous trial experience is an asset.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, interpersonal communication, and legal drafting.
  • Excellent client service orientation and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide clear direction to others.
Salaryamp; Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.

Hiring Process:
  1. Remote 30-minute phone interview with HR Advisor.
