Job Description

Term of App #39;t: Monday - Friday, 17.5 hours per week Start date: ImmediatelyReporting to: Operations Manager, Person Responsible for Training (PRT)Salary/Benefits:Classification 8, $26.74 - $27.57 per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.58/hour in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay. Campuses are closed during the Christmas break (Dec 25 - Jan 1) which is unpaid time off.Description:Typical duties for the Programs Support Clerk include, but are not limited to:

  • Typing, filing, photocopying, word processing and data entry.
  • Record keeping, minute taking, and report compilation.
  • Ordering, receiving, and stocking equipment and supplies for the department.
  • Updating and maintaining program procedure manuals and handbooks.
  • Responding to student inquiries/requests for information.
Qualifications: Required:
  • 1 year of post-secondary education (Office Administration certificate is preferred).
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, work in a team environment and work independently is required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
