Job Description

Commissionaires BC is looking for a security guard to work at a outreach shelter in VernonShifts: Monday to Friday 12.30am till 8.30amPayrate: $22/hrSome of your responsibilities include:

  • Foot patrols of residential building, interior and exterior
  • Maintaining a safe environment for all, handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner
  • Offering first class customer service to the client, service users and members of the public
  • Work with and respect the diverse community of Kelowna, supporting and guiding where needed
  • Access Control
  • Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
  • Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
Your Must Haves …
  • Valid BC Security License
  • OFA 1
  • Excellent English oral and written skills
