On behalf of our valued client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a DevOps / Automated Testing Expert.Summary of the Role:We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in DevOps and automated testing to join a 3-month contract with a focus on modernizing software development practices and supporting platform stability and scalability. This role involves implementing CI/CD pipelines, addressing recommendations from an external application review, and modernizing both legacy systems and web environments to align with modern standards.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible for environment provisioning.
• Support modernization efforts by re-architecting legacy systems and applications.
• Enhance system monitoring and logging using tools like ELK Stack or Splunk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote knowledge transfer and innovation.

Core Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, emphasizing automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk or ELK Stack.
• Demonstrated ability to modernize legacy systems and implement cloud-native solutions.

Desired Skillsamp; Experience:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or ISTQB.
• Knowledge of OpenShift or similar containerization platforms.
• Experience in public sector or regulated environments is highly valued.

Terms:This is a 3-month contract position with work to address system recommendations for greater stability, scalability, and usability. The role involves modernizing technology and practices for bespoke web and application services, primarily for public sector projects. Candidates must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
