On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our Client #39;s team on a 12-month contract basis. This role is 100% remote, and the Client is based in Victoria, BC.Summary of the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for full-stack development, contributing to the migration of digital services from legacy environments to modern cloud-based architectures. This role requires expertise in Python, Postgres, Vue.js, TypeScript, and related frameworks while working within an agile development team to deliver scalable digital solutions.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities

• Develop both back-end and front-end solutions using modern languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Work as part of a scaled agile team to incrementally deliver value to users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solution architectures addressing business needs.
• Migrate digital services from legacy systems, including mainframes, using DevOps methodologies, Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices-based architectures.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs while implementing automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with cloud-based technologies to enhance system scalability and performance.

Core Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-stack developer using modern languages and frameworks.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Experience developing APIs for external use with an API gateway.
• Minimum 3 years working in an agile team, with at least 1 year in a Scrum environment.
• Proven experience in migrating digital services from legacy environments (e.g., mainframe) to modern cloud-based architectures.

Desired Skillsamp; Experience

• Experience with search technologies (e.g., SOLR, Elasticsearch, Google Cloud Search).
• Hands-on experience with Flask, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js.
• Familiarity with JSON Schema and OAS v3-compliant API development via Apigee.
• Expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
